Labor vs typical retail

Where we publish a fixed splice labor price (see each splice below), it reflects our in-shop rate — usually well under common chandlery and rigging-shop “book” pricing for comparable work. Diameter, hardware, and line lot can still affect the final quote; we confirm everything before we splice.

Continuous Spinnaker Sheet with Y-Tail

Quoted per layout. · typical retail $45–$120

Arrangement: For asymmetrical spinnaker sheets.

Benefit: Lightweight; full cover on sheets provides better grip for foredeck crew during jibes.

Use: Double-braided rope — strength shared by core and cover.
