A workshop built by a rigger who still races
Keith "Panda" Love founded Panda Rigging in 2013 after two decades working on, racing, and rigging sailboats across three distinct sailing cultures — the Caribbean charter circuit, New Zealand's competitive offshore scene, and the San Francisco Bay Area's demanding one-design racing calendar.
As a professional racer and former charter skipper, Keith brings practical, race-tested judgment to every rigging project. His approach: no unnecessary complexity, no premium-for-its-own-sake. Sensible solutions, executed with precision and an eye for fit and finish.
Whether it's a standing rigging replacement on a 40-foot bluewater cruiser, a weight-optimized halyard system for a J/105 fleet, or a custom carbon component for a sportboat program — the same rigor applies. Every job comes off the bench right the first time.
Panda Rigging operates from Sugar Dock at Point Potrero, 800 Wharf St., Richmond — a working marine facility on San Francisco Bay with direct water access and full fabrication capability.
